Τhe first race of the Greek National Touring Car Championship was recently held at the R1 track in Athens under sunny skies and warm (23-25°C temperatures). XRAY/RCring drivers did very well at this race with 2 drivers on the podium in the World category and 2 drivers on the podium in the National category.

The classes were open with brushed and brushless motors and 4200-4300 batteries being allowed. After qualifications, it was John Dukakis (cyclone) with the TQ, Jim Mitropoulos (cyclone) in 2nd, and Greek champion Harris Katikas with his new XRAY T2 starting in 3rd.

In the first race of the 2006 Greek Championship Open class, there were five XRAY cars in the A final and the overall winner was an XRAY T2.
